tooth count/gear ratio question

does anyone know if there is a web site that tells you how many ring/pinion teeth equals whatever gear ratio? or does anyone know how to determine this? i have a lp dana 44 which i think was from a jeep. i think it is 3:55 (i turned the yoke roughly 3.5 times for one carrier turn) just want to be sure. thanks.

Yes. These numbers will appear on the side of the ring gear, usually with a dash between them. Example: 41-10. If you can see the carrier, just rotate the yoke until you see them.
