Rigs needed for Video Shoot

Plans now are very very early in developement. I am looking to put together a small group of maybe 5-10 rigs for a promotional video shoot.

The wheeling would be on private land on Drummond Island.

This isn't a normal trail ride and not for a stock vehicle. You will have to deal with me and my crew all day shooting the pictures and video, having to double back and do it again, different angle, some scripted stuff, interviews, etc.

Dinner the night of the shoot will be covered by me at the Drummond Resort. All participants will receive a copy of the DVD after final pressing and packaging.

At this time lodging has not been firmed up. It may or may not be covered also.

Time frame for shoot is late April.

The reason for this post is to gather intell to see if there are interested parties. There will be an application process later as more details are released.

I'm interested. Any excuse to go back to D.I. Will you be going to the park also?

What is the video for?

In april there will be quite a bit of mud, but it will be alot of rock.

Yes, alot of it will be shot in the park.

It's a promo for a larger scale comp (not a Jeep Jambo) event to held on the island. Planning is JUST starting.

Looking for modified rigs, but would like to keep them in the "able to be driven on the road" category. Not saying they have to be DD's, just don't want to have all buggies. Not to say there won't be one or two in the group though. Don't have to be Jeeps, we would like a few others too.

Damage is a good possibility (and would make for great video) And the crazier you are, the more fun it will be for the camera guys.

How far from stock would we need? I should have my 4x4 by then, but I don't know how much cash I'll have for modification.

I dunno how much cash you will need for that Escape...but it would be funny watching.

As far as how far from stock, well, winch, a locker would be nice, wanna keep it under 40 inches for the tires for the most part I think and little fear of body damage. Also looking mostly for experienced wheelers that can pick and hold a line but we'll toss in a newb or 2 to laugh at...we can get most newbs with a trail rig to try anything. :tonka:

Well, I might be able to manage a winch and a locker. I guess if I can get my shit together, I'll volunteer to be one of the n00bs. But don't think you'll get me to do too much that crazy/stupid. :)
