the absolute most rediculously cool videos I have ever seen

These are not for dialup.... sorry

these are from POR, specifically a guy from the Alaska 4x4 Network.

Most videos from POR are rocks, rocks, and only rocks.... you won't find many rocks here....

This is a trailer for their club (crazy Russians from what I can tell)

The next 3 are the most insane snow wheeling ever.....
This one is insane, then gets really insane at about 6:40 into it

South Pole Expedition

Yeah, no dialup version of the latest mud video. There was too much action...it would have just been blury all the way through. The mud one is at 2000kbit and the snow ones at 1000kbit. So that gives you an idea of how much more action there is. ;)

There are dialup versions of the last three. Well, I have to have qualtiy standards, so the dialup ones are kind of big. :) I won't ever put out a tiny box video, ever! :)

Here is the whole list with dialup:

12/29/05: Lagoda 2004 Russian Club Video
Lagoda 2004 Trailer Beta - [48MB] High Quality

11/20/05: General clips of polar ring trips
Yet Another Russian Video - [54.8MB] High Quality - DSL/Cable
Yet Another Russian Video - [14.8MB] Low Quality - Modem

11/13/05: Millenium Expedition to Antarctica
Millenium Expedition 2000 - [19.8MB] High Quality - DSL/Cable
Millenium Expedition 2000 - [6.4MB] Low Quality - Modem

Added 11/13/05:
Polar Ring 2002 - [32.3MB] High Quality - DSL/Cable
Polar Ring 2002 - [8.6MB] Low Quality - Modem

I'll let you guys know when I get the "Slower" mud one done. ;)

I had a ton of information typed up on these but our web board crashed. Theyr'e called Karakats. They began as a vehicle that russians built for ice finshing and access to "impassable" terrain.

The first models were 3 wheelers built of motorcycle parts. There are all sorts of types. Traction steer 4 wheel, 6 wheel with 4 wd drive, 6 wheel with 6wd, 4wd steering, 3wd trike, 3wd with one rear tire, etc.

Here are a few cool pictures of the ghetto home built ones:

Now the home built ones used regular innertubes. They also tend to have a band of rubber around the circumfrence and then bands that go around the tube. This protects the tube from pokey things. The bands around the tire serve two purposes. They allow the tube to be inflated more than otherwise (because of the expansion) and they provide more traction due to the lumps.

Flat tires look fun!

I have SOOOO many pictures on these, but I'd clutter this up posting any more. When I rebuild my karakat posts I can post them here if you guys want.

Good quality videos.....It's nice to be able to watch them in full screen without them being blurry.
