towing with a lifted rig

does any one tow there trail rig with a lifted truck

i was wondering if it will be ok, i have a dodge with 3" suspension and 3" body with 4:56's running 37's

whats your thoughts

Thoughts: You have a nice dodge.


Bump for ya. Depends on a lot of things but should be able to do it with right setup. An acquaintance has 8inch lift and 38 on his dodge and previously flat towed a yj he said with no problems whatsoever.

i tow with my chevy with 9 inchs of lift and 35s and it does jsut fine makes long trips no problems

I know a guy who tows with 44" bogger. and he doesn't have any problems just make sure that your have a good solid drop hitch but go out to cali they are hauling stuff all the time with huge trucks

I towed with my 1989 6-cyl F-150 w/ 4.56 & 36" tires for many years with no problems.
