zj axle swap

im gunna swap my axles out for a front d44 out of a scout and im not sure what to do for the rear...8.8 9" or d44

Also, You may run into pinion angle/caster issues with a scout front, without cutting and rotating the knuckles.

What size tires are you running, the rear axle kinda depends on that. Most people will be easiest with a disc brake 8.8...

yes but i was thinking about cutting the long side and re tubeing the short side, the axle were free

im planing on running 35's

I would sell it to a CJ guy and buy a HP D44, which is already driver drop. They have been moving on GL for like $150 lately.

A Scout D44 will be narrower than your present D30.

Get a Waggy front and an Isuzu rear.

i was planning this but couldn't find the isuzu rear. instead i found a scout rear and am making the waggy front 5 0n 5.5

I just picked up an Isuzu D44 for Craig, and I have another one here with 4.30s that is for sale. I get quite a few here from time to time, the hard part is finding one that still has the calipers on it.
