F-350 manual hubs

Anyone know where to find one or a set of 1978 Ford F-350 Dana 60 manual lock-out hubs? I have one that's one the way out for my high-pinion kingpin Dana 60.

The warn site says -78-97 are the same locking hubs. Can it be so? If so, I'm calling around some junk yards.

Are the stock ones broken? Cause most of the time they just need to be disassembled and cleaned. Ive done it on my tracker, ramcharger, and F250. Its pretty simple to do.


O on the ramcharger I removed the full time locks and installed the milemarker part time locks from autozone. Still it was a breeze.

The ring on the one side is pretty distorted and needs to be replaced. It will lock and unlock, but requires a lot of wiggle work. I'm just afraid it will fail sometime. Everything is clean and assembled right though, to your point.

They are the same as new fords (d50 and d60) and the chevy d60s.

If your goin to a junkyard, might as well look for a D50 you'll find this IFS
in a HD250
Finding a D60 in a yard is like hittin lottery.

Thanks guys. Have a Chevy 30 spline hub assembly on it's way. Hopefully you are right and it will bolt right on.

a friend borrowed my 78 ford d60 hub for snow blind last year to use on his chevy d60. it'll be fine.

there where alot of D50's that weren't IFS. I would just buy a new set, and not worry about junkyard ones.

But new sets are around $200 a pair......

Milemarker are $140 at National Tire.....but I know what you mean Jeff about trying to find them cheaper.
