Yup i have read that site. That site is why i have the questions to find out if anyone else has just went ahead and used these knuckles before. i have one and it was free, so i figured if i have it is it worth my time and money to mill and drill this knuckle or will i run in to major problems down the road with that thin spot where the brake bracket mounts?

I think that you may have already answered your own question by choosing to describe something on the knucke as a "thin spot".
I referred to the site not because of Dodge-specific information, but so that you can see all the other knuckles and understand what surfaces, geometry, and thicknesses are considered good or bad. Should be easy to make an assessment of the knuckle you have after that.
