Suggestions for tires for this thing?

Appears to be a former Jet-ski trailer, but I intend to ditch the rollers and strengthen the deck to carry a single motorcycle and also function as a utility trailer for parts fetching behind my XJ.

Obviously needs lights. Probably going to throw a new coupling on it as well. It all appears to be bolted together everywhere, so that will be corrected with a welder. I figure that it could be made to be rather useful for maybe $150 max if I have to buy brand-new tires.

Doesnt like meijer and wal-mart sell new trailer tires on rims for like $30 for something like that?

Is that a lawn tractor tire?

It appears to be similar to most snowmobile tires except for the profile. Could be a lawn tractor tire, I guess.

They just look like smaller snowmobile trailer tires(the fat ones) If its an 8" rim then I would just clean them up and put a snowmobile set on it. You'd gain a couple of inches but who cares right.

that tread pattern makes me think its a tractor tire. i would take the wheel to a tire store and see if they have a tire that will fit and hold the weight you need

I just came from fleet farm out here in MN. I had to grab some stuff for my old man when I saw them. Same tire, same size, different pattern $31 a peice.
*edit* upon looking at the picture where you have two different sized tires I'd say just go for the small 8" tires and be done with it. You should be able to find them for cheap at a wally world or somethin.
