FYI, Hman, I run a 83 1st gen longbed frame with my 2nd gen extra cab. I know you were looking for a frame of some sort. Its easy to modify the cab mounts with a grinder and a welder.. Dunno about a 3rd gen, though..

I dont' need any of them, no. I have probably at least one of everything there already as a spare, except the frame...

I think I could use a lot of it except for the frame, tranny and trans cases. I may buy this (thanks for posting it BTW Jesus ) I just don't think I can use all the parts. Maybe I'll get it and post up in the for sale section. Another problem I can think of is that I have no way to transport the frame I can tow with my mini-van but I don't have a trailer.

On that note anyone know a good place to rent from? Besides a trailer I need to rent a cherry picker.

Any rental place probably has those. Probably not too expensive. I'm lucky, there's a rental place 1000 ft from my house (Orion Rental)

Haggar, let me ask you this. Do you think that auction is worth the starting bid? I don't have a use for the frame but the other stuff would probably be good to at least keep around.

Depends... do you like parting things out/selling them?

If you were saavy, you could sell the T-cases for $100 each, since they should be top shifters. Then the rest would be free. In general, you could probably easily keep the parts you want, and sell the rest to cover the cost.

Just depends. If I needed a bunch of spare parts, I'd buy it myself for $200. But I have parted 2 trucks this year, so I have spares already. BTW, those trucks, I did just what I said, I bought them ($400, $450, and $500), kept the best parts, and made my wheeler, sold off many other parts, so at this point, all my trucks were roughly free.

Depends on your skills, and your intentions. I would only buy it if there were parts you needed.

Yeah, I could mostly use the rear springs (one is broke and the other is bent) and I could always use another radiator plus the grill stuffs. Ah hell I'm talking myself into it just need to get the wife on board.
