put 95 motor and trans in 93 f150 in drive trans feels like it is sliping if I put it in first it goes but does not seem to shift if I manualy shift it when I put it in rev it shifts very hard and goes fine if I try to turn off od the light on the shifter will not come on it is like I am starting of in 3rd all the plugs on the trans looked to be the same on both trucks trans fluid is full and new when the trans was in the 95 it shifted fine thanks for any input

they are not the same.if you get lucky the 95 comp. will plug in and take care of the problem.if you didnt smoke the trans .
