body lift bolts

ok did a 3inch body lift on my 88 bronco II and i need 2 bolts that are long enough for the back by the bumper. anyone got any? i really need em and cant find metric bolts at stores.

are these carriage bolt for the box? if so I have some really long 10mm 1.50 thread ones I think their 8" long

sorry to tell the size i need metric 12 bolts. the ones i have right now are 8inches long and dont work so im figuring at least 9inches.

I can dig through my bolt bins and see if I can find a couple. I am guessing 12mm 1.75 thread pitch...you say 9" or longer?

kinda ratty but you can buy the proper length 1/2 bolt and tap it to the 12 mm. Ive seen it done with no real problems. What do they tread into?

im not sure of the thread pitch...how do i check thread pitch? and yes at least 9" long bolts.

i cant see what it screws into and the gas tank would be required to be removed to see...

Yeah there are a bunch of good bolt places several in Livonia Midwest? was one that I used to go to all they carried was nuts and bolts. They usually frown on orders less than $20 so if you do call one of those speciality places you may want to order some additional stuff to make them happy.

some places dont want to take the time to sell folks a bolt at 80 cents,so yes most have a minimum. i just think of the most common size hardware i need and restock that bin when there.
