xj tj swaybar swap

just wondering if a xj front swaybar is the same length/size as a 97 TJ. i seem to have a hard time finding a used TJ swaybar.

I know rusty's sells the adjustable ones to fit both Jeeps, but that helps you in no way at all. I am pretty sure that they are as I put a TJ one on mine last spring, but its now shot and I need to replace it. Length might be the reason why.... IDK

That would be a Trackbar, not a sway bar.

i just thought of that possibility, because people (including myself soon) are swapping XJ front axles under the TJ's for the high pinion. so i just assumed that if the axle was the same (bolt in), then the swaybar should be pretty damn close. yes/no???

no, the swaybars are very different. tj may work in an xj but xj will not work in a tj
