Please read if you want to be in my group

Since they plan on having signup sheets out Friday and I probably wouldn't be there til later Friday (big surprize:tonka: ) I figured I'd post my ground rules and expectation here.

#1 Your rig will most likely get scratched... no whining. If you don't like driving through "trails" with thick underbrush scraping down both sides on you rig please choose another group. What I plan on running ranges from narrow over grown AVT trails to places that look like they might make interesting trails and I think we can get between the trees. All of these are in the St. Helens motorsports area.

#2. Front and rear recovery point are required. No exceptions.

#3 Beyond #2 i don't really have any vehicle requirements. I'll be driving a TJ on 33's with a locked front/open rear and no winch. Hopefully some other people will have a winch if we get in trouble. Since most of these trails are "uncharted" I don't really know what it will take. As long as it has recovery point front and rear, working 4 wheel drive, and something better that regular street tires you should be fine.

#4 Since I'm also helping with breakfast don't expect us to be the first out, but please be gassed up and have all your supplies (food, water, etc.) when we od line up as I do not want to have to stop on the way for this stuff.

#5 I plan on taking the main roads to the motorsports area to avoid the usual backups on the hills that people usually run between West Branch and St. Helen. We will then stop at the Motorsports parking area to air down/disconnect/lock in.

#6 Lunch. Normally I prefer to just bring snack type things that can be eaten along the way rather than something that requires a designated stop. However, since most of the "trail segments" are fairly short and in the same area I don't have a problem accomadating people that want a longer lunch break. We'll just go to one of the "play areas" so we can play while you eat.

#7 Don't come with unrealistic expectations. This is after all mid-Michigan wheeling. It's mostly trails around sand/gravel hills. Theres one area that may be wet depending on recent weather. Don't come ecpecting the Rubicon Trail.

Now go back to the top and re-read #1 and 2 until they really sink in.

OK homeboy, we did alright last year, lets do it again this year.

To prevent scratching the doors on the shocker, I'll leave them at Marvs.
I can't speak for the rest of the \/\/est siders, but we tend to stick together.

oh yeah... and I have judged "where we will fit through" based on my TJ. I make no guarantees that anything bigger will fit, but you're welcome to try. :tonka:

I plan on following you Bruce! I toasted my winch earlier this year, but Kenny (junk90xj) has one on his rig.
