my new tow rig



this is my new truck. 350, 4l60e, 4:11's. 10" of lift with 38's. I guess we'll see how she does.

Yeah, truck needs at least 4.88's to get close to stock ratio. 5.13's would be ideal for the extra rotating mass.

i would like to take the 3" body lift off and go back to a 35 but I'm too lazy to do it right now

no, it was a truck I had worked on in the past and I was trying to help the guy sell it. Just turned out he liked my cherokee and we worked out a trade.

That might not be to bad of a setup to go with. One of my vedors at work has a Ext Cab Chevy early '90's. Its got a 6" lift w/36" Radial swampers, and 4:10 gears. He tows his 1ton Blazer on 44's on a 18' trailer. It doesnt do bad. Nothing like a new diesel would do, but it gets the job done.

we'll see what happens. right know it's kinda nice being that high cause the wife won't get in it. If I lower down, she'll probably want to drive it.
