Yea but that seems like it would take a lot of room on the trailer... im thinkin of something that will set on the tongue of the trailer and not take up any deckspace..

I like that alot.. cause it flows with the lines of the trailer and looks neat.
But i plan on puttin a winch,an optima battery, and 2 sets of Heavy Duty tie downs in there.. I dont think it will all fit... Could you PM me a estimate on how much something like that painted would run ?? maybe a little bit bigger.. and with heavy gauges steel on the bottom and the side facing the deck.

There is more then enough room for a battery, winch and straps in that box I made. I could probably even put some wheel chucks, a small floor jack and some tools.

box

I like the idea of a semi and trailer. Anyone know where I can get a 48'-53' drop deck enclosed semi trailer. Basiccilly a moving type or alot of them were used for hauling auto parts. I already have a tractor just need a reasonable priced trailer. Gonna haul 4 Jeeps.

Wal-Mart has small utility type storage boxes made by rubbermaid for around $10. I've got one mounted in the bed of my Canyon for all my straps, chain, tie downs, ect. It's about 24"x14" or so. It's got holes on either end for pad locks. i used a peice of stainless cable and one pad lock to keep it secure.
