I feel that the signature restriction is too small. There are alot of people here that when they go to change thier signature won't be able to do it because of the restriction.

What confuses me more is the 130 character thing isn't new but there have been several signatures created since the restriction that are far longer than 130 characters.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half-full of cocaine and a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of Budweiser, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. But the only thing that worried me was the ether. There is nothing more irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we would be getting into that rotten stuff sooner or later

Stan is the only member allowed to have an unlimited size signature..

Sigs are annoying, and I have them disabled for my viewing pleasure

Don't let Cooter kid you. His collection is one short from his current signature (M170), but he refuses to remove it just to taunt me. It's all part of some evil master plan of his.

I find it somewhat restrictive, too. In my case, I don't want to say more; I just want to have hyperlinks in my sig. The URL string eats up the 130 characters quickly (actually, I thought it was only 100 characters). For example, the "SOA Great 8 Restoration Charity Project" used to be in my sig, but this URL (which wasn't displayed in the text), is: http://www.cj-8.org/index.php?option...id=4&Itemid=45.

It's not a major deal. CC will just single-handedly be responsible for limiting the charity project exposure/promotion...leading to less overall ticket sales...leading to less money being donated to St. Jude Children\\\\\\\\\'s Research Hospital...leading to small children dying. But it's really no big deal. :tonka:
