sticky please CAMPING PARKING

TOW RIGS

Regarding parking of tow rigs this year . THere is a new road put in between the tow yard and my drive way . It will be marked by blue reflectors . Please pull in the road with blue reflectors to unload your rig and camping gear .

This applies ONLY to tow rigs , if you have a camper on the truck then drop your trailer back there . This is an attempt to cut down traffic in the camping area .

NEW CAMP AREA ( quiter too )

If there is a large group wanting to camp together there is now some nice camping area above the back yard along the river . There is lots of room there to double the campers we have had before . There is room for large motor homes on the West end where the road comes in . Tent area to the East end of the field along the river front .

A sign will be posted for trailer / tow rigs on the North side of the upper field .

All orginal camping areas remain in use , if you have parked along the dirve , or along the river in the lower yard assume your normal spot .

NEW NEWS

The upper field will become a rustic camp ground in the next year or so and will officially be called " River walk camp ground " operating under the Apollo corporation . It will remain as a rustic camp ground with pit toilets and hand pump water well . Camp fees will be 10 dollars per night . THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO THIS YEARS PIG GIG There is NO camping charge during the pig gig .

There is much change in the wind , I will retire from towing with in 1 year from Sept . I do so with mixed feelings after 30 years . The camp ground will be revenue to pay the land tax around here . Apollo Transport LLC will remain a very small dump truck operation to intertain the old guy and put food on our plate .

We hope some of the many friends we have made through 4 wheeling will make use of the new camp ground facility through out the summer months . Those that do certainly will walk over to the house and visit with us as well .

Its hard to give up something you like doing but after 30yrs you deserve to relax a little. We'll defintly make good use of the campground in the future.

Marv, I wish you luck in your new business endeavors, and in leaving an old one behind.

The wife and I will be buying a camper come spring time, so plan on us camping there a lot. It would be a pleasure to put some of our camping $$ into your pocket and not some stranger.
Plus I can bring the Jeep and we can goof off together:tonka:

Hey, ask Zach if he'll rent it out to me :tonka:

I'm thinking the headlights wont go thru walls as easy as my tent.

Is my room, the one next to Miffy's, all set to go?

No way in hell I'm sleeping in a damn tent.
I would wake up in the morning floating down the river.
