sg_offroad, his site has been down for awhile, but he goes by nick_sg over on www.wegotmud.com his bumpers and tire carriers are all bulletproof, i have both his front and rear bumpers (front is his design I built with his help; rear he built) and after christmas will be doing a tire carrier through him.

THe only problem that I have seen with the warn carrier is the bushing set up they use for the pivot. We replaced the bushing set up on a guys Rubicon with a spindle and timken bearing set up that we use on our carriers.

Your stage 3 is pretty comparable....correct?

I was just thinking of saving myself the drive over.

You can't beat JCRoffroad. Worth the drive over.

Whatever you do, if you don't want it to rattle, make sure it has a very good latch preferrably stainless steel and that it has some sort of bearing spindle pivot. I used a Rockstomper hinge and a DeStaCo latch and am very happy Poorboy built mine.

Comparable as in, they are bumpers :)

Our bumpers have a lot of diffences verses Warn bumpers. If you want to PM, I can give you a better break down in comparisons.

I have a wilderness rack and I love it. It tucks up nice and close to the body and is strong enought that when you smack somethink in the rear it won't smack the tailgate. Only down side is the price. But if I had to do it over I would have gotten a Jeeperman or a PSC rear stinger like has. Unless you want to buy my rear carrier?

no comparison on the quality between warn and JCR. if you want mass manufactured stamped metal with crappy bushings that will fail in a year, get a warn, if you want a tire carrier that will actually hold up to more than jumping parking blocks at the mall, make the drive out to K-zoo
