got a '97 burb and some Q's

so i'm new to mods for a new fullsize, but i'm no noob. so here are my questions.

the truck: 1997 1500 burb - 220k miles
the build: roadtank towrig

i've never delt with IFS before, so any info for this truck woudl be helpfull. easyest way to BB the front? will a tortion bar wear out and sag as bad as other springs? max lift without drop brakets and steering mods?

who makes the best/cheepest lifts for these trucks, who makes some nice bumpers for em?

engine mods? best for the $$, are computer mods worth it? chances are i'll rebuild as a 383 here soon... whats the lowdown on what i gota look for?

thanx guys

Easiest way to BB the front is new torsion bar keys, but it will ride stiffer. Anything over the 1.5-2" you get from that you will need to get into new brackets, control arms, etc....

I haven't seen torsion bars wear like leaf/coil springs, but I have seen them break.

That's really all the input I have....
