90 chevy k2500 fullsize help on 4wd

so my problem is the front wheels dont do anything the driveshaft moves but nothing else i have no idea what is wrong ITS A 90 K2500 5.7 LITER

sounds like the front axle accuator is bad, their about $70 new and they just screw into the axle housing. theres two plugs on the axle one is the axle ID sensor which tells you its locked in and the other two wires go to the accuator. by the way the accuator is a heater with a expandable gas charge, it expands and pushs the axle fork to lock it in.

you can take it out measure the length then actuate it, wait a minute and measure it again. It is the one that screw in to the housing on the bottom side, passenger side.

i see one on the top ps side how do i actuate it just put it in 4 wheel drive
