Talking Jeep Parts Pimp, Inc.

EDIT (12/27/2007): I'm in official semi-retirement with parting out Jeeps. I'm focusing on building my own Scrambler, and family/home-improvement time. I still have several small CJ parts around, though.

*****

I wasn't sure if this officially qualifies for this forum, but since I'm always buying/selling/trading Jeep parts, I'll mention it here.

I buy, sell & trade Jeep parts, and have a constant supply of CJ, YJ, XJ & FSJ parts (primarily CJ parts, though) available. I often have hard-to-find parts, such as Scrambler items, Laredo bits, wide-track Dana 44 axles, etc. I'm located in Allendale, Michigan, which is about 15 minutes West of Grand Rapids. I also have family downstate (SW of Three Rivers, MI) and upstate (Onaway, MI), so delivery to those areas or anywhere in between may be an option if you're flexible on timing.

My current parts vehicle inventory (along with a lot of other loose CJ parts) includes:

Vehicles:
  • Out of stock...just my own Jeeps remain.

Misc. Parts:
  • NEW OEM Unlimited Rubicon rocker guards: Never installed. Black diamond-plate design. Just need captured nuts to install in factory LJ holes. $200 ($100 less than retail)
  • TONS of small CJ/YJ/FSJ parts
  • Misc. OEM CJ/Scrambler parts

I also buy Jeep parts vehicles and/or projects - running or not, rusty or not. I prefer CJs, but will consider any Jeep. Let me know what you have.

Thanks,
Craig

Older CJ's? Like 74 CJ5's? I'm dreading moving back to Michigan because vehicles fall apart so quickly I'll never be able to find parts I need for the ole girl.

Sorry for the delayed response, Chimp-O...I missed your post somehow. I have had a couple early-mid '70s CJs, but I typically part out '76+ models.

The salt is good for parting-out donors, but it's also why I don't drive any of my own Jeeps in the winter. I keep 'em stored and drive my beater '93 Roadmaster. :tonka:

Craig

Shoot me a PM if you want to stop over sometime and chat. I'm also having a Jeep work day Thursday evening at my place (to work on my '10a).

I found a guy who has 5 postal Jeeps (DJs) with narrow-track Dana 44 rear axles, and he's selling the axles to me at a fair price (not a "steal", though) before he scraps out the rest of the vehicles. The gearing in these should be pretty low/good, too. I'll verify once I get them...probably sometime in the next week.

These are factory spring-over, and I'm not sure yet about the distance between the perches. They're narrow-track width (~50.5" WMS-to-WMS), have 1-pc. 30-spline shafts, and 5 x 5.5" bolt pattern (standard CJ pattern).

If you're looking to upgrade a narrow-track AMC 20, or use one with some Spidertrax wheel spacers to match up to a CJ wide-track front, shoot me a PM. I should have these in another week or so. I plan on keeping at least a couple, and selling the others.

Thanks,
Craig

I now have four (4) of these Dana 44s available (I plan to keep a couple, though). The guy has several more available, as well. I have confirmed that two of them are 3.07s, and one is 3.73. I still have to confirm the other one. These also have the heavier-duty 11" drum brakes (vs. 10" brakes used on later CJs). Upgrade your AMC 20 and get one of these Dana 44s for $125.

Craig

I posted these in the Marketplace (CLICK HERE), as I now have pricing and have them in-hand.

Thanks,
