are the stock axles the same???

nope..

I believe there's a difference both in width (sidekicks/trackers are a couple inches wider) and spline count (maybe 23 vs 26 splines?)...

just off the top of my head, though...

sidekicks rear axle is centered, sami's are offset. Sidekick front axle is IFS, Sami is solid axle.
