1. Remove nut on compressor shaft.
2. Slide off outer wheel.
3. Remove snap ring.
4. Pull serp pulley (use a pully puller, I used a prybar... gently)
5. Pull next snap ring.
6. Pull magnet.
Then install the new parts back in. Took maybe 30 min?
I have a bare working compressor for sale now if anyone needs one

The Dealer was surprised when I mentioned that you couldn't find a clutch kit. They thought they were available in the aftermarket.
Anyway - they claim my lines are leaking. The compressor apparently does not turn on when there isn't enough refrigerant in the system? I'm not 100% sure if I believe it, but a leak after 8 years is reasonable. The real problem was that nobody local had the lines and they had to order them from Dallas. That would take a couple days and does not help me for this weekend, when I need to use the truck on some long runs. This was the factory charge I finally lost, mind you. Whatever leak there is, its not that big. What they didn't actually tell me was whether the compressor ran after they did the test charge this morning - I just called back for that specific piece of info. If the bitch
does run, I'm going to order the lines, charge it for the weekend, and get the work done next week.
If it doesn't, I may take that compressor off your hands. What's the part # and actual motor/year it was pulled from?
