36" TSL's (non radials) please comment on road manners

Iam thinking about buying a set of 36" tsls, non radials... for my 1500 dodge ram...

does anyone have any comments or suggestions on this.. it is my daily driver, i dont drive it as much as i used to.. back and forth to work (10 mins away) to school and such... occasionaly up north every now and then

any idea what kinda miles i might expect on these tires rotated regularly and keep them balenced ..

This might help owners of this tire tell you alittle more about them...

Do these tires sit for long periods of time, or is the vehicle driven at least 2 or 3 times a week? Bias tires tend to get very uneven after setting for awhile

I think it's a poor choice...

driven every single day.. at least 2-3 times a day

you are going to see alot of flat spots in them in the winter. Bias ply tires=not that good on the road.

just like it sounds.... as it sits there for a while, the section bearing weight is flat on the ground... well, it tends to stay like that until its nice and warmed up...

So, in the winter, its going to hold that flat shape, and wil go thumpthumpthumpthumpthump as you drive until they are warm..

bias play + swamper + daily driver =I give this mostest baddest idea of they day award.

Oh, and you plan to *KEEP* bias swampers balanced? Hahahaha, that's if you can get them to balance in the first place!! Ya gotta love the swampers, but a reasonable on-road tire they are not.

I also wouldn't recommend them for a DD tire. Look into the SSR's or regular TSL Radials.

OK OK... thanks guys... they were for sale from somebody used.. thats why i wondered.... i figured it might not be a good idea but i knew it couldnt hurt to at least get opinions...

i have 36x12.5x15 tsl sx bais they suck on the road never again

I ran 36x12.5r15 TSL/SXs on my 97 extended cab.. It wasn't exactly daily driven.. But did see some road use.. When I did drive it I did drive it in the snow and it wasnt too bad.. of course didnt stop well but it was still kinda fun to drive.. Flat spots, yeah.. for about 5 miles in the cold.. bumpy ride until they warmed up..

Driving yesterday in the yota, there were some good flat spots bouncing me down the road. Didn't help that I had about 5 psi in the tires driving to work.
