91 ranger help

my sons 91 ranger puked today......the fuel pump went out,,,,,i changed that ,it ran for a sec then stoped....need some help i went through all the fuse,s and found the eec relay fuse burnt,i changed that and it ran for about 5 min then stoped again now it wont run,its fireing and trying to run but wont,,,,,,,,any ideas??? its got the 4.0 motor in it........

are the cylinders getting decent compression?

I wonder if theres a way to check the fuel line pressure, maybe it's pumping, but not enough.

maybe if I get a discussion going someone esle will chime in.

well now it fires when it wants too???i think there a short somewere....freeking things pissing me off people on a exploror ,ranger site say it could be a groung wire,could be the computor,could the wiring from the fuel pump........a lot of could of things rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

well i change all the relays now ,coil box,igntion module,fuel pump,sending unit,eec relay fuse, and still no start,,,,,,,,,soooooo its up for sale now!

freaking heding fuse link and relay switch.......runs like new now ,,,yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaa

damn it! I was all excited when you said you where putting it up for sale. I thought about buying it back

it still might be the boy just got a loan for a car,,,,,,,dont have alot of room around here,so i,ll be selling something
