Heavy duty t-case crossmember

Well i bought some steel yesturday, went a little over board and cam back with a piece of 2x5 1/4" wall tubing and other stuff. Im going to make this into a tcase crossmember.

Whats your opinion?

Should definately be strong!

I'm running a Front Range Offroad center section on mine, custom arms, bushings at the frame. It transmits a bit too much vibration.

I'm going to be going flat-belly this summer, hopefully, or as close as I can get(my double adapter isn't clocked )..

My advice is to raise your drivetrain as much as possible.. every inch under there helps.

This alone will give 2 inches and keeps the drivetrain in its stock position. PLus it should be overkill and uses the stock mount for some comfort. Should be easy to mod when i do tuck the drivetrain... for now i just want it to run.

Still waiting on the machine shop for my block

that design looks nice, but you may need to alter it as the front D-shaft wont clear. I am presently designing a Bootyfab Lo-pro crossmember and am running into that issue.

well I made a lo-pro crossmember and here's what I came up with
it raises the T-case an inch and gives 3¼" more clearance than stock.
I retained the stock mount a for vibe control. slightly booty fab but it'll work.

made from 3"x¼" anlge iron, butchered and TIG'd back together. it is pretty strong as I picked the entire truck up by it.

that is lifting the T-case against the floor and giving about ½"-1" clearance above, to go any higher you'd have to have a body lift or cut the floor.

you can see in the second picture how much the T-case is lifted.
