tahoe suspension

Has anyone tried or do you think it would work to put 3/4 ton leaf springs under a 1/2 tahoe? And what about putting or converting the independent to 3/4 ton parts. What parts would i need?
thanks
jake

3/4ton leaf springs are longer eye to eye than the 1/2tons. As for the front I don't know much about IFS. I would assume besides the differential and cv shafts, they A arms, torsion bars, etc would all be different.
