ever wonder what the mounds used to look like. I found some links to let you compair from 16 years ago.

I started going to the mounds around 89, 90. But that was on 3 and 4 wheelers, dirt bikes.

I started going there in 92 and it has gone thru a lot of downsizing, to keep the locals and DEQ happy. I just wish they would put some effort into making it a more useable park. Like the MOUNDS meeting they had 2 years ago. To get everyones input on what they would like there. And then just throw it in the trash.

I can't remember the actual first time I went but have had lots of fun there. if I remember correctly it is about 2/3 or even 1/2 the size it was originally.

I believe they need to protect land from the idiots, but unfortunately the govt. is part of the problem not solution.

what burns my ass is the people that knew it was there when they moved in then feel the need to bitch about it :chiefwoohaw:

that about sums it up right there. I'd love to see the oval track area reopened but that'll never happen cause certain property owners live to complain.
