weird gauge cluster problem

i have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 360, and everynow n then my ABS light comes on a few seconds later my Air Bag light comes and the speedometer/tach drops to 0, then my odometer flashes a few times then every gauge drops to 0 and the odometer reads "No Bus" and then the check engine lights shows up with it......after a few minutes it goes away, any ideas?

loose ground somewhere. check all the connections and then check somemore. theres grounds under the carpet and from the cab to the frame.

Lose connector to the computer also. make sure there plugged in good. Did you do andy repairs recently?

i havent done anything to it recently, at the beginning of last summer i put the K&N FIPK and a tune up on it, and during the winter i had to change the collector bolts on the driver side, and this just started happening out of nowhere happend bout 3 or 4 times in the pass month or so

I finally got to ask around about the cluster problem. the majority of guys at work thought it was a failing cluster. they have some internal problems that come with time from what I am told. you may want to check out a junk yard for a new one and see if the problem goes away.

Also have it checked for secondary codes. These dont always set the light on the dash.
