axle leak and a noise

I was changing the gear lube out of my axles this past weekend when i noticed a bit of weepage out the right side. I'm also hearing a rythmic noise from the front right area when driving. How reliable are the axle seals if any and which end are they on? Are they easy to replace?

Bad bearing will cause the seal to leak. Pain in the ass to fix. Have to take everything off to get to them.

Bearing on the pig end? I didn't think there was one one the wheel end aside from the hub/bearing assembly.

yes they are at the pig end. All must be removed to fix. The rythmic sound is most likely bad bearings.
