SILVER THIS WEEKEND, May 13-14

Im headin up Saturday morning. Ill be in a loud green CJ7 fenders cut, "no sticker", white hardtop if its shitty weather, otherwise topless. Then if silver gets boring....whitehall mud pits about 20 min south.

you know that this weekend is the MT. Balldy hill climb? it is 1 of 2 times a year that it is opened for climbing.

where are the whitehall mud pits? i live in new era, and have never heard of them...

I was told it is no longer on Mother's day, but the weekend after. And I thought you live in Waterford? EDIT: OOPS wrong gotsand...

that is the other gotsand (GotSand) ......I used the same username that I have on another 4x4 forum without realizing there was already another one here.

I just talked to my buddy (he owns Appletree Auto in S.L.) and he said that it is this weekend. (Sunday) He said that it is always 2 weeks before Memorial Weekend. About every third year, it is not on mothers day, but this year it is.

Glad I was at Silver Lake last weekend and not this weekend. 40 degrees during the day and rain? No thanks.

NO ... at silver lake sand dunes, ther eis a hill there with this name, it is only allowed to be run for these special hill climb events... read the thread...

I went today in my sammy, it was a little wet but I still had a blast. The dunes were really packed hard and I had no problems. I even launched her a few times. The only bad things that happened was some dick yelling at us in the parking lot for flexing our trucks on my buddies trailer ramps (I guess we were taking up too much space in the nearly empty parking lot?), and then my buddies yota broke. All in all I had fun though.
