can you put a a4od from a 96 f150 with a 351 behind a 96 f250 with a 460 the 460 has a bad trans and I have one from a 351 what would I have to change thanks

NO. the 351 is a windsor block which is a small block bellhousing. the 460 is a big block.

you might be farther ahead to pull the trans and go talk to Denny Haas at the trans shop (Haas transmission) he can rebuild it as a bench job and have it back in a couple of days.

thanks haas trans is about 3 miles from my house I would let denny do the work but I just know one of his monkeys would put his hand on and I will not make that mistake ever againbut thanks

I have another guy in Chelsea that does bench jobs. his name is Andy Hasencamp. he works as a trans man at the chevy dealer and rebuilds trannys for everything else at his house. you can call him at 475-8663 (its Fiast/Diesings number)he will talk to you though.
