What I think is really funny is when you see these Kerry/Edwards 04 stickers. I want to stop and say, "Your guy lost...let it go"

Haha...I've actually said that to people.

Back in the fall I saw this one guy with a hybrid and a bumper sticker that said, eat my voltage. I had just gotten my truck and yelled out to him, "Suck my Gas!"

I thought it was funny....

I once saw a Chevy Corvair with an upside down Nader sticker on it. I found it amusing.

I don't care for political bumper stickers though, especially "VOTE ________ for XX" type ones.

The ACLU says the Georgia Supreme Court ruled more than a decade ago that the law against lewd bumper stickers is unconstiutional.
In the subject of profane presidential bumper stickers it's ironic that the law needed to be passed during the Clinton years....

Banning profane bumper stickers doesn't prohibit free speech, it just forces a person to choose different words to express their sentiment. Frankly I think it's grossly inappropriate to put foul language where children can see it. It certainly speaks volumes about the knuckle dragger who put it on their car.

I agree. I had to explain to my neices a couple bumper stickers we saw. I explained the stickers the cleanest way I knew how. I don't believe in sheltering, I believe in educating. Sure there is a time and a place for everything. But kids feed off your response to things this is proven. And if your calm and think with logic not your emotions, you'll play it off just right.

This arguement really explains why America is starting to go to shit. The fundamentals of rights has always been the rights of the many should outweigh the rights of the few. If people and courts practiced this the country would be less screwed up. Honestly, if you want to use vulgar language (and I do sometimes) you shouldn't be able to infringe upon the rights of all of the people who dont want to see or hear it.

I just think it's stupid when people paste every political view they have on their vehicle. Good way to get your vehicle keyed in a parking lot.

People can put bumper stickers on if they want, I really don't care. I don't give a crap what people's views are either, I just hate crap getting "shoved in my face."

It's like....hey that's great you want to vote for whoever...but no one else gives a shit.

People suck. Everyone has an opinion and most think their own is right. Your right putting your political view or speaking of your faith is a good way to piss someone else off. But what gives either of those parties the right to voice their opinion? Good ol' freedom of speech.

I don't always agree with things I see and hear, but I walk the other way, pay no attention to it. If it is consistantly in my face I try and find a way to get it out. It's all , and really who needs .

I have a good friend who lives in Europe and always teases how "uptight" Americans are. I always ask him what the differences are and he always resorts back to family and lifestyle. Says we are spoiled here, and don't appreciate things. He works for one of the big three and travels back and forth. I have never been overseas so I personally do not know the differences. Just thought it was interesting the perception of one person. There are a few patients I work with as well from France and Germany, the French want to stay, the Germans can't wait to go back. Interesting.

Who is worse, the person "brave" enough to post their political views, or the coward that keys the car?

What kind of fucked-up mindset thinks that destruction of private property is justified to "teach someone a lesson"?

<edit> relying to what you wrote, GM, not saying you do it. </edit>

Who is forcing you to stare at a vulgur bumper sticker?

It is whinning like this that is a huge problem in America. Yes it might be trashy and show ignorance. However I am tired of people complaning and trying to tell everyone else what they should and shouldnt do. You take care of your family and I will do the same.

I had a bumper sticker somewhere before I moved that had the f-word in it about 20-30 times, the print was small so you had to be close to read it, just a hilarious profanity laiden rant.

I think both parties are stupid.

No one is forcing us to look at it, like I said I don't care what people paste on their $500 beater. I just don't think it's the brightest thing to broadcast to everyone what every single one of your political views are.

The only profanity-laden knuckle dragger bumper sticker I'd ever think about sticking on my Jeep is one that reads "Fuck you, you fuckin' fuck".

I mean, if you're going to cross the line, you'd might as well go all the way.
