Dana 53?

Other than knowing it's old, and the ring gear is in between a D44 & D60, I don't know a whole lot about this rearend. Got any info?

i got a dana 25 front that would go well with it if you need a front, neither are good axles, only usefull if you are doing a full restoration to original stock, otherwise i wouldn't take them if they were free.

Thanks, that's exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I guesse it could be a good rearend to throw under some P.O.S truck that's headed to the graveyard after scavenging it for a better rear.
