Local Suppliers of steel DOM tubing?

Ugh, the one place I've found so far that stocks it (Industrial Metal Sales) wants $45 a foot for 3" 0.250" wall..

I need something with a 2.5" ID, so either 2.75" / 0.125" wall or the above mentioned 3"/0.25" wall.

Anyone know of places in the metro detroit area who stock it? Pontiac Steel does not.

yes but you probably don't want to bring it to the UP or Wisconsin...

Try searching for a blacksmith or anybody with the balls to torch a bar red hot and twist it.

if you have torches and a vise do it yourself. Just heat it cherry and twist it. Depending on size, use an adjustable wrench, pipe wrench or whatever you have handy to grip it with.
